AIDAprima Once Again Becomes the Filming Location for VOX Cooking Show "The Perfect Dinner"

For the second time, AIDAprima, one of the cruise ships operated by AIDA Cruises, is hosting the popular VOX cooking show "The Perfect Dinner." Filming by ITV Studios begins today, Friday, December 13, 2024, during the ship’s current journey on the Orient route.

The spotlight is on five passionate amateur chefs who will showcase their culinary skills. They will receive expert guidance and support from experienced AIDA gourmet mentors. At the end of the week, the contestant who impresses the judges with their cooking will win a prize of €3,000.

The exact air date of these special episodes filmed at sea is yet to be announced. As filming is currently underway, the episodes are expected to be broadcast sometime in 2025. Traditionally, "The Perfect Dinner" airs Monday to Friday at 7:00 PM in VOX's evening programming. Episodes are also available for streaming on RTL+.

The AIDAprima previously served as the filming location for a special edition of the cooking show in June 2023. On that occasion, the cameras captured the ship's Metropolis route. The episodes, filmed during this journey, were broadcast about five months later, starting on November 6, 2023.
