Due to the strong winds expected on the south-western coast of Norway next Monday, the planned stop in Bergen cannot take place. Instead, the AIDAprima will call at Ålesund on that day, which was originally scheduled for Wednesday. The visit to Bergen will now be postponed to Wednesday, October 23, 2024. This means that none of the planned port stops will have to be canceled - only the order will be changed. AIDA Cruises has also adjusted the program for the shore excursions.
This cruise is the last of its kind in the 2024 summer season. At the end of this voyage on October 26, 2024, the AIDAprima will enter the port of Hamburg for the last time this year. From this date, she will begin her transfer voyage to the Orient winter cruising area. Due to the uncertain situation in the Red Sea, the route was changed a few months ago so that the AIDAprima will sail from Hamburg via the Canary Islands, South Africa and Mauritius to Dubai. The ship is expected to arrive there on December 5, 2024 and will be deployed for cruises in the Orient throughout the 2024/2025 winter season.
The original itinerary of the AIDAprima from October 19 to 26, 2024 was: Hamburg - sea day - Bergen - Geiranger - Ålesund - Stavanger - sea day - Hamburg.
