TUI Cruises reveals details of the Mein Schiff Relax christening in April 2025

Hamburg-based shipping company TUI Cruises has lifted the curtain on the christening of its latest ship, Mein Schiff Relax. The christening will take place on April 9, 2025 in the port of the southern Spanish city of Malaga. TUI Cruises has planned an impressive ceremony for this festive event, which will also be attended by the two sister ships Mein Schiff 5 and Mein Schiff 7.

Bookings for the christening voyages on all three ships are scheduled to start on October 23, 2024. On this day, interested parties will have the opportunity to reserve their seats for this unique voyage.

Waiting room for the start of bookings

As already tested for the booking of the Full Metal Cruise 2025, TUI Cruises will once again rely on a waiting room system for the booking process. This virtual waiting room will open shortly before the official booking start on October 23, 2024 at 9:30 am. Due to the high demand, the shipping company is again expecting intensive use of this system to make the booking process smoother.

Details about the christening voyage of Mein Schiff Relax

The christening voyage of Mein Schiff Relax is expected to begin with a change of guests on April 7 and 8, 2025 in Palma de Mallorca. The ship will then sail the Mediterranean and finally arrive in Malaga on April 9, 2025 for the official christening ceremony. This special voyage will end after nine days in Palma de Mallorca, where another change of guests will take place on April 16 and 17, 2025. The shipping company has not yet announced any information about the other destinations during this christening voyage.

Voyages of the sister ships for the christening

A christening voyage is planned for Mein Schiff 5 from April 3 to 13, 2025. This will sail from Santa Cruz de Tenerife to Palma de Mallorca. Mein Schiff 7, on the other hand, will interrupt its cruise season in the Canary Islands from April 6 to 13, 2025 to also take part in the christening ceremony of Mein Schiff Relax in Malaga.
