Two full weeks without land in sight - the tall ships of the Star Clippers shipping company start their winter voyages to the Caribbean and along the Pacific coast of Costa Rica from October. One of the most popular routes is the Atlantic crossing from Europe, which is considered an original sea voyage and a special form of relaxation. Passengers enjoy the comfort of maritime-style cabins on board the luxurious sailing ships. On deck, pools, wellness facilities and excellent cuisine provide a relaxed atmosphere during the voyages. Sailing ships on a winter course to the Caribbean - no land in sight

The Star Clippers shipping company has added an Atlantic crossing to its travel plans for this October, one of the most original sea voyages of all. The fleet's three tall ships will set course from Europe for the Caribbean and the Pacific coast of Costa Rica to reach their winter destinations. 14 days without sight of land promise a special experience of deceleration.

The “Royal Clipper”, the largest five-masted full-rigged ship in the world, will start its journey to Barbados from Lisbon on October 17. On the 15-day cruise, the maximum of 227 guests will spend 14 days completely at sea before reaching Bridgetown on Barbados.

The two smaller sister ships, the “Star Flyer” and the “Star Clipper”, will follow shortly afterwards. The “Star Flyer” departs from Las Palmas on Gran Canaria, with a stopover on La Gomera, before arriving in Philipsburg on St. Maarten after 13 days at sea. The “Star Clipper” also leaves Gran Canaria, docks in Tenerife and, after a longer voyage, also arrives in Bridgetown on Barbados.

The three Star Clippers ships are modern replicas of historic clipper ships. The sails are set as often as possible to offer guests an authentic sailing experience. Passengers also have the opportunity to climb safely into the masts or relax in the net of the bowsprit above the waves.

During the voyage, guests are accommodated in comfortable cabins furnished in a maritime style. Pure relaxation is offered by the pools on deck, the wellness facilities and the excellent cuisine, which creates an incomparable atmosphere throughout the voyage.
