** The Kick-off: Welcome Voyages instead of a Maiden Voyage** Interested guests can now secure their cabins for the so-called "Welcome Voyages." The cruise line has deliberately opted against a traditional maiden voyage, focusing instead on four consecutive dates between late June and early July 2026. The port of departure and arrival is Palma de Mallorca. From here, the new ship will alternate between destinations such as Marseille in France and Corsica, or the Spanish coast with Málaga and Barcelona, as well as Tangier in Morocco. Prices start at 1,049 euros per person in an interior cabin, including the standard premium inclusive services. Early birds can benefit from a discount if they book by the end of January.
Architecture in the Spirit of Lightness While its sister ship focuses on deceleration, Mein Schiff Flow stands for carefree lightness. This is particularly reflected in the design: the atrium opens up over three decks, allowing ample daylight to flood the interior through massive glass fronts. A special highlight on deck is the "Agora Deck." Inspired by Greek marketplaces, this open area at the stern offers a relaxed atmosphere, far removed from the bustle of the main pool. Beneath an airy roof structure, an infinity pool and the Agora Bar invite guests to linger while gazing at the ship’s wake.
Culinary Diversity: Tim Raue and Mediterranean Flair The new build also sets standards in cuisine. The collaboration with Berlin-based star chef Tim Raue continues: in the new restaurant "Fugu," guests can look forward to exclusive Asian fusion cuisine. Those preferring a more rustic setting will find Greek specialties for sharing in the "Taverna Dionysos" or enjoy the French way of life in the "Sur Mer Bistrot." For a taste of home, the "Chalet" offers Alpine cuisine.
Living and Well-being Mein Schiff Flow accommodates nearly 4,000 passengers, with the majority staying in balcony cabins. Those seeking something special will find it in the suite area: the "Große Freiheit" (Great Freedom) suites span two floors and feature two bedrooms as well as a private sauna.
Technically, the ship is equipped for the future: propulsion is primarily powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), significantly reducing emissions. Additionally, the Starlink system ensures fast internet on the high seas.
