Contrary to its original schedule for an Orient season, the AIDAprima will remain in Germany for the Winter 2025/26 season. The cruise ship is set to operate a series of new routes from Kiel, taking passengers to Scandinavia, across the Baltic Sea, and even to the Canary Islands. Following some initial booking challenges, the full schedule for the new winter season 2025/26 is now confirmed and available for booking.

The vessel's existing itinerary will continue as planned until October 3, 2025. It will then extend its stay in Hamburg for four additional North Europe cruises, accommodating the autumn school holidays. The ship will change its home port to Kiel on November 2, 2025. From there, the AIDAprima will primarily embark on winter cruises to Scandinavia and the Baltic Sea, with durations ranging from five to nine days. These trips can also be combined for a longer travel experience.

Highlights of the new winter season include a seven-day Christmas cruise on the Baltic Sea and an eight-day New Year's Eve cruise through Scandinavia. For those seeking warmer climes, the AIDAprima will offer a "Great Winter Break Canary Islands" trip from January 9 to February 1, 2026, temporarily leaving the cold of Northern Europe behind.

In March, the ship will head to Oslo, the Norwegian capital, to coincide with the Biathlon World Cup and the Holmenkollen Ski Festival. The winter season from Kiel will conclude on April 12, 2026. A nine-day Norway cruise will then take the AIDAprima back to Hamburg, where it will resume its original schedule from April 21, 2026.
