However, the voyages of both cruise ships were influenced by the storm low "Floris," which necessitated adjustments to their routes. For AIDAsol, the scheduled calls in Lerwick on the Shetland Islands and Aberdeen in Scotland were canceled. AIDAprima's route was also modified; the call in Kristiansand was replaced with a stop in Eidfjord.
This is not the first time recently that two of the "kiss-mouth" ships have met in Bergen. Just a short while ago, an unscheduled meeting between AIDAprima and AIDAbella took place there, with both ships moored side-by-side at central berths.
Future Itineraries of the Two Ships
AIDAprima has its homeport in Hamburg for the current summer season. From there, it is undertaking predominantly ten- and eleven-day cruises through the Norwegian fjord landscape until October. Contrary to original plans, the ship will also spend the upcoming winter season in Northern Europe, as the voyages to the Orient will not be taking place. The newly designed winter routes from Kiel are already available for booking.
AIDAsol is currently on cruises of varying lengths to destinations around Great Britain and Ireland. Starting October 26, 2025, a new adventure begins for her: a three-week transatlantic journey from Hamburg that will take her to her winter destination, the Caribbean.
