Passengers have been informed of an impending route change due to inclement weather. The forecast for tomorrow, Wednesday, predicts strong winds and high waves in the area around Kristiansund. Consequently, the bridge crew of the Costa Favolosa has decided that the scheduled call at Kristiansund cannot proceed for safety reasons. As an alternative, the ship will sail to Molde, where it is expected to arrive tomorrow around 12:00 PM and remain until 9:00 PM.
As a result, the shore excursions originally planned for Kristiansund have been canceled. Costa has promptly made new excursions for Molde available for booking.
Following the stop in Molde, Ålesund and Vik are still on the itinerary before the current cruise concludes on June 22, 2025, back in Hamburg.
During the current summer season, the Costa Favolosa is a regular visitor to Hamburg, undertaking various Northern European cruises, including to Norway, Iceland, Greenland, Scotland, and Spitsbergen, until mid-September.
