AIDA at Kiel Week 2025: Comprehensive Holiday World and Numerous Ship Visits

Kiel Week, taking place from June 21 to 29, 2025, is not only established as one of the world's leading sailing events but is also among Northern Europe's largest summer festivals. The event annually attracts numerous visitors with its unique blend of top-tier sports, a broad cultural program, and an international audience. The cruise line AIDA Cruises will once again be a key partner in 2025, showcasing a significant presence both on land and at sea.

For visitors ashore, AIDA is setting up a two-story experience world directly on the Kiellinie promenade, near the Reventlou Bridge. This "AIDA Holiday World" offers interested parties comprehensive insights into the world of cruising. The attractions include a tour of a true-to-original show cabin, personal consultations with travel experts, and an inviting outdoor terrace. Interactive elements such as a wheel of fortune complete the informational offerings.

The cruise line will also be represented on the Kiel Fjord with two ships from its fleet. Kicking things off, AIDAnova will visit for the official start of Kiel Week on June 21, 2025, with another port call on June 28, 2025. The day before the opening, on June 20, 2025, AIDAbella is expected in Kiel for the so-called "Soundcheck" and will depart at 6:00 PM for a short cruise. Just two days later, on June 22, AIDAbella will return to set sail from Kiel at 5:00 PM for a 14-day voyage heading to the Lofoten Islands and the North Cape.

Throughout the summer season, Kiel serves as the homeport for a total of three ships in the AIDA fleet: AIDAbella, AIDAluna, and AIDAnova. The portfolio covers a wide range of destinations, including tours of the Baltic Sea, the Norwegian fjords, and routes extending beyond the Arctic Circle. Additionally, short cruises of three to five days are available, ideal for a compact getaway.
