Während ihres aktuellen Törns vom 26. April bis 3. Mai 2025 legte die AIDAnova erstmalig am Seawalk in Nordfjordeid an. Dieser Anlauf wurde genutzt, um eine besondere Sicherheitsübung durchzuführen, an der zahlreiche Besatzungsmitglieder beteiligt waren. Etwa einmal jährlich probt die Crew die vollständige Belegung eines Rettungsbootes unter Maximalauslastung. Bei dieser Übung nahmen 440 Crewmitglieder in einem der insgesamt 16 Rettungsboote des Kreuzfahrtschiffes Platz. Mit dieser Kapazität gehören die Rettungsboote auf den Schiffen dieser AIDA-Generation zu den größten in der gesamten internationalen Schifffahrt.
